A phone call that will change everything. The last conversation before everything collapses. Arnau calls his daughter Julia to see if she can pick up her mother Mercè from work. They both look for excuses until Julia picks up her mother without knowing that this will be her last ride. A traffic accident ends Mercè’s life leaving her daughter with an incurable feeling of guilt and the father sheltered in his house, a lifeless place full of dust, cardboard boxes and only one company. Benedetti, the little caged bird that Mercè took care of. Now, Arnau’s only obsession is to take care of the bird until Julia visits him for a reason that will change everything.
