The aim is to promote the island as a tourist destination and as a filming set. The Council of Mallorca has an intense agenda for this edition of FITUR which opens its doors this Wednesday.
The central act of Mallorca’s tourism promotion at FITUR 2020 is a promotional event, “Mallorca in the foreground”, with the participation of the president Catalina Cladera and the Minister of Tourism and Sports Andreu Serra.
The Council of Mallorca wants to take advantage of this tourist event to influence the Spanish market, the third largest source market for tourism in Mallorca, from two fundamental aspects:
- The promotion of Mallorca in Spain with a sustainable and attractive tourism offer 365 days a year.
- Mallorca as a filming set for audiovisual productions and a business opportunity for local companies and professionals.
